At Able 2 Access locksmiths, we believe our role within the industry should go beyond just supplying parts and repairing locks for doors and windows. As with any business, we provide plenty of added value. This added value is helping us to establish a strong presence within the commercial sector and in particular working with housing associations.
Over the last year, our relationship with East Midlands Housing Association (EMH Housing) has developed to an extent where we are now the preferred supplier for window and door parts and other ironmongery products.
A one-stop-shop for ironmongery products
We love being able to help our clients with any security issue they may have, whether that be supplying window fittings, handles, bolts, fastenings and locks or uPVC parts for doors. This is our bread and butter, but on occasion we have been tasked with supplying other ironmongery products such as a bank of letter boxes for social housing and centres.
In the locksmith trade, a quick turnaround is fundamental in order to secure a property again as quickly as possible. Our aim is always to endeavour to supply a part within 24 hours to give our client’s tenants peace of mind.
Happy to fit window and door parts and provide training when required
As part of our work with EMH Housing, we have primarily been working at their Leicester and Ilkeston branches. We stock a lot of window and door parts from our warehouse in Leicester; and on most occasions we have just been required to supply the ironmongery products for members of the EMH team to fit.
However, with many years’ experience within the locksmith industry, we can fit parts, educate and train staff when called upon. Â Our flexible approach to our client’s needs and our understanding of products outside the locksmith trade mean we are becoming the go-to company for a number of problems housing associations face.
